In my journey as a board game creator, I've come to realize that truly memorable games are not only easy to learn, but also highly interactive and challenging. As a creator who loves table football and ice hockey, I am well aware of the interactivity and excitement these games bring. However, the complex operations and large size of these games often limit their use in my home. In particular, these classic games require ample space and a long learning cycle, and although they are fun, they are often difficult to easily integrate into my family's daily life. This prompted me to design a simplified game that is both highly interactive and suitable for a family environment.
At the end of 2023, I began to try to simplify these classic games. I used five pieces of wood to build an open box and casually placed a cross-shaped rotating rod on it as the "forward" of the game. This innovative rotating rod system is different from the traditional fixed rod and is more flexible and can reach every corner of the game. Then, I threw a small ball into the box and started trying to hit it with the rotating rod. At that moment, I experienced an unprecedented excitement - so simple, yet full of challenges and fun!
Out of curiosity, I invited my little daughter to play with me. Seeing her easily master the rules and having so much fun, I realized that this game is not only suitable for adults, but also children can have unlimited fun. What's more exciting is that she began to challenge other family members and show it to her friends, and everyone quickly understood the rules and got involved. Every game was full of laughter and excitement, and everyone enjoyed it very much.
